Vermont Yankee

Located in Vernon, Vermont, and is owned by Entergy, though the license may be sold to NorthStar Energy Group in the near future.

  • Commissioned- 1972
  • Shut Down- 2014.
  • No Set Decommissioning Date

One of the earliest nuclear power plants, it produced 620 megawatts of electricity, and was the main tax revenue source for the town of Vernon.
